About finworlders
We believe everyone deserves access to clear, unbiased salary information — wherever in the world they are.
Making Global Wage Data Accessible to All
finworlders was created to address a straightforward problem: global salary data is scattered across paywalled reports, complex government databases, and inconsistently formatted sources. Most people have no easy way to get a clear picture of what professionals earn in different countries.
We aggregate, verify, and present publicly available salary data in one clean, structured, and free resource. Our goal is not to replace official statistical agencies or professional compensation consultants — but to give individuals a useful starting point for informed thinking.
All information on finworlders is provided strictly for educational and informational purposes. We do not offer any paid services, employment placement, or financial advisory services.
What Guides Everything We Do
Four principles underpin how we build and maintain finworlders.
Open Access
Salary information should not sit behind a paywall. Every data point on finworlders is and will remain completely free to access for all users.
Transparency
We are clear about where our data comes from, how it is calculated, and what its limitations are. We do not present estimates as facts without appropriate context.
Regular Updates
We review and refresh salary data on a quarterly basis to keep information as current as possible and relevant to today's global labor market conditions.
No Conflicts of Interest
We have no recruitment or staffing affiliations, accept no advertiser sponsorships that influence content, and offer no paid services of any kind.
How We Source and Verify Data
Our salary figures are compiled from a combination of internationally recognized sources including the OECD Employment Outlook, International Labour Organization (ILO) statistics, World Bank datasets, and national statistical offices from each country covered.
All salary values are presented as gross average annual earnings, converted to USD for cross-country comparison using approximate current exchange rates. Net salaries will differ based on each country's taxation and social contribution rates.
The Cost of Living index is a composite metric adapted from publicly available consumer price indices. It is intended to provide rough context, not precise purchasing power parity. We recommend consulting dedicated CoL databases for more granular analysis.
